A BENEFIT FOR ANCRAM OPERA HOUSE
Join AOH for a very special evening of theater followed by cocktails and an intimate supper at the home of an AOH supporter.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Experience the magic of plein air theater as we present three captivating short plays staged in three secret outdoor locations. Each venue has been purposefully selected to enhance the plays’ storytelling, creating an immersive experience you won't want to miss.
After each play, you'll travel by car to the next venue, where another play unfolds. The evening culminates in cocktails and supper for 6-8 hosted by a generous supporter of the Ancram Opera House. It's an opportunity to celebrate vibrant arts in the community while connecting with fellow theater enthusiasts in a congenial after-theatre setting.
DATES:
Choose between two exclusive dates: Saturday, August 12, or Saturday, August 19. A day before your chosen date, you'll receive an email with directions to the first Plein Air Play location.
AGENDA:
4:30 to 5:00p: Join other generous AOH supporters for a pre-show prosecco toast, courtesy Copake Wine Works, at the site of the first play. During this time, we'll reveal the locations for the remaining plays and dinner assignments.
5:00 to 6:30p: Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and scents of Plein Air theatre.
6:30 to 9:00p: Finish the evening at the nearby home of your designated host for drinks, a relaxed supper, and dessert provided by Copake General Store, over lively conversation with other theatre lovers.
TICKETS:
Secure your spot for this extraordinary event with a $150 per person benefit ticket. Your ticket includes the pre-show reception, all three plays, dinner, and beverages. By purchasing a ticket, you're supporting the Ancram Opera House's 2023 season. Due to limited seating, early reservations are highly recommended.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
To reach each performance location, a short walk across gently sloping grass may be required. If you have any concerns or require accommodations, please inform us in advance. Blankets and some seating will be provided at each play location, but you're welcome to bring your own seating or stand if you prefer.
