The voice is a deeply personal instrument and we use ours all day long: at home, at work, outdoors, for fun and for profit. Dance for the Non-Dancer
with Aubrey Lynch

Saturday, June 8th at 2:00pm
at Ancram Center for the Arts
Admission: $45

No experience necessary! Come to this workshop and learn to freely express yourself through movement!

Experience the power and healing nature of our birthright, dance. Many of us have been shamed for an inability to keep time or move in traditional social dance settings. Or perhaps we self-edit and deny ourselves the joy of expressive movement. Yet, there are parts of ourselves that have no words. There are stories within us that must be told, and some reflections are so profound they cannot be recited in any spoken language. Join Aubrey Lynch for this special workshop and feel the power of self-expression through our first language, dance.

Aubrey Lynch is Dean of Faculty and Student Affairs at American Ballet Theatre Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. He is a former principal with Alvin Ailey and is an original cast member and associate producer for The Lion King.
