Ancram Center Director and Designated Linklater Voice Teacher Paul Ricciardi offers Linklater Voice classes at the Opera House on a regular basis. These classes are intended to introduce participants to Kristin Linklater’s approach to voice training.  The Linklater approach to voice training, known as the progression, examines how habitual tension often inhibits one's natural voice, and through an exploration of releasing this tension, opportunities for freeing the natural voice emerge.

For these classes, participants should dress comfortably in loose fitting clothing, such as sweat pants.  Students should come prepared with 10 lines of memorized text (a poem or sonnet is fine).

The workshop tuition is $120.

To register, please contact Paul at paul@ancramcenter.org.

I don't know which I enjoyed most: your thoughtful guiding through the [Linklater Voice] progression, the use of images that resonated, or how you brought out the best In each of the amazing people in the voice workshop.  You have a new fan!”
